Who is Kathy Fehr-Yung?
Kathy has been a licensed realtor for nearly 17 years, with qualifications to sell residential homes, commercial properties, farms and acreages, as well as qualifications in property management, Kathy has an extensive knowledge of the real estate industry.
As of June 2020, Kathy has completed nearly 3,500 real estate transactions with a sale price average of 98%. And in case you don’t speak ‘real estate’ that means that Kathy sells the property for the sale price 98% of the time. Pretty good, hey?!
Kathy's history gives her a great perspective to connect with a diverse client base. Her busy city to town and country experience allows her to understand and cater to a client’s unique requests. Kathy started her career in Saskatoon in 2003 which gave her the opportunity to work through the big boom in 2007. (To interject a little past piece of history is, Kathy used to own a very successful restaurant, so Kathy thrives in a busy environment.) This big boom was Kathy's favorite time in her real estate career. Sure, it was chaotic, but that’s when the cream rises to the top.
Kathy moved to Yorkton in 2010 to be with her partner Les. Kathy, Les & their golden retriever Iggy bought their lake front property in 2017. The property was a full renovation project, which allowed them to get the property of their dreams in a location that wasn’t readily providing. And since you may be asking, Kathy and Les completed a lot of the renovation with their own hands, so Kathy’s renovation knowledge is quite comprehensive.
Kathy’s biggest passion is her family. Her husband Les is her rock. He is always there to support her real estate career, and her projects, whether they are a mild DIY project or supporting Kathy’s involvement on the many boards she has been a part of. She has 3 married children with 5 beautiful grandchildren who fill her life with unparalleled love. Kathy has a strong moral backbone with energetic zest for life.
